Rosewood Schloss Fuschl is seeking a Junior Sous Chef - Pastry to support the pastry kitchen leadership and daily operations, crafting exceptional pastries, desserts, baked goods and confectionery in line with Rosewood's Sense of Place philosophy and elevated culinary standards.

You will mentor junior chefs, collaborate with the culinary and service teams, ensure HACCP and hygiene compliance, and help develop new menu concepts while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as Junior Sous Chef - Pastry or in a similar supervisory pastry role within luxury hospitality.
• Strong technical pastry and baking skills with a passion for creativity.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and HACCP standards.
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistently delivering high quality.
• Organized, reliable, and an effective team player with good communication.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• English language is required; German is an advantage.

• Ensure consistency, creativity, and attention to detail across pastry offerings.
• Assist in the development of new menu items, seasonal concepts, and signature creations.
• Supervise and support Pastry Chefs and Commis Chefs during daily operations.
• Train, mentor, and develop junior team members to encourage continuous learning and growth.
• Monitor product quality, presentation, and portion control to ensure excellence at all times.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance.
• Support inventory management, stock rotation, ordering, and cost control initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Assist in managing production schedules and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
• Contribute ideas and innovations that enhance the guest experience and elevate the pastry offering.

YOUR ROLE

As Junior Sous Chef - Pastry, you will support the leadership and daily operations of the Pastry Kitchen at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl. You will play a key role in creating exceptional pastry, dessert, bakery, and confectionery offerings that reflect our Sense of Place philosophy and elevated culinary standards.

With a passion for craftsmanship and creativity, you will contribute to the development of memorable guest experiences while supporting the growth and success of the pastry team.
