Job summary

Smartness is seeking a Junior Solution Specialist for the DACH market in Austria. You will join the Sales team in the pre-sales process, participate in discovery conversations, analyse customer requirements, and support tailored product demonstrations to show the value of Smartness.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, SaaS, travel-tech, consulting, customer success, account management, pre-sales, or a similar B2B-facing role.
• Hospitality understanding and/or hotel tech experience is highly valued.
• Strong analytical skills with data and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery conversations with prospects and understand their business models.
• Analyse customer data and identify challenges and opportunities.
• Translate customer needs into Smartness use cases and product capabilities.
• Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations reflecting the prospect's context.
• Explain business impact and how Smartness improves decision-making and operations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Technical teams for qualification and follow-ups.
• Develop product expertise and stay updated on AI capabilities and hospitality tech.
