Job summary

Join BOND in Vienna as an AI/LLM engineer on the engineering team building AI features that read, translate, and match public tenders. From day one you’ll have real product responsibility with mentorship from senior engineers and your work ships to customers quickly.

You’ll contribute by writing production code, evaluating model changes with data, and growing into a strong AI/LLM engineer through hands-on projects and direct collaboration with the founders in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Solid programming fundamentals in at least one language.
• Genuine curiosity about applied AI — side projects, coursework, or experiments welcome.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• A degree is welcome but not required — what you can build matters more.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve AI-powered product features alongside senior engineers.
• Write, test, and ship production code — not prototypes.
• Help evaluate model and prompt changes so decisions are data-grounded.
• Learn how AI systems behave at real scale, with real users and constraints.
• Grow: the goal of this role is to make you a strong AI/LLM engineer, fast.
