Zusammenfassung

Onefold AI in Vienna is seeking a versatile software engineer / AI developer to split time between client projects and our own product. You’ll design agentic AI workflows, build RAG pipelines, and help shape the product direction in a small, fast‑moving team.

You’ll work independently in ambiguous settings, explain technical decisions to clients, and stay current with rapid AI advances. We offer equity, a learning budget, and real remote flexibility while basing compensation on the Austrian KV.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering or AI/ML in production.
• Solid experience with RAG systems and agentic architectures.
• Strong Python and general software architecture skills; TypeScript is a bonus.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
• Comfort being client-facing and able to explain technical decisions.

Aufgaben

• Design and build agentic workflows—orchestration, tool use, function calling, multi-step reasoning.
• Build and improve RAG pipelines end to end: chunking strategies, embeddings, retrieval, re-ranking.
• Own quality: set up evaluation pipelines, measure what you ship, iterate based on data.
• Debug across the full stack when things break in production.
• Work with messy, real-world data: PDFs, scanned documents, unstructured enterprise content.
