Job summary

MED-EL in Innsbruck, Austria, is seeking a full-time IT Support Professional to join its Fast Response Team. You will serve as the first contact for users, perform remote troubleshooting, and coordinate resolution with higher levels of support.

The role requires strong English and German, IT education (apprenticeship or HTL), and good IAM knowledge. You’ll work in a collegial team and benefit from flexible hours and an international environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and ability to work in a collegial team.
• Excellent written and spoken English and German.
• Experience in IT support or service desk is desirable.
• Working knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) and IT processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for users via phone or ticketing system.
• Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher levels of support.
• Follow up and update customer status and information.
• Suggest improvements to procedures and services and relay feedback to internal teams.

As Fast Response Team Remote we handle the rapid resolution of IT incidents, software issues, and system problems for users. We prioritize critical tickets, coordinate solutions, and communicate with the relevant departments.

Your Tasks

• Serve as the first point of contact for users of our IT services seeking technical assistance via phone or ticketing system
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
• Follow-up and update customer status and information
• Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures and services, as well as pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team

Your Profile

• Completed education in the IT field (apprenticeship, HTL) or comparable qualification through several years of work in IT
• Good knowledge of identity and access management as well as IT processes
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in a collegial team
• Customer-oriented and friendly appearance as well as a motivated basic attitude
• Very good knowledge of English and German, both written and spoken

Further Information

Minimum Salary: Salary will be determined based on professional experience; the formal minimum salary according to Collective Bargaining Agreement is € 38,183,60.
