Job summary

OMICRON Lab in Austria is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator to own the administration, automation, and modernization of our Windows and Linux client environment, ensuring stability, security, and modern workflows.

You will drive packaging, automation, lifecycle management of software, and contribute to internal IT projects. You will collaborate with an international IT Service Desk and other IT teams to deliver high-quality IT services for our employees.

Qualifications

• Completed IT education or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Linux; scripting and automation—ideally using Ansible.
• Work independently, take a proactive approach to challenges, and enjoy contributing ideas within an international team.
• Enjoy learning new technologies, continuously developing your skills, and taking ownership of your work.
• Communicate confidently in English and feel comfortable collaborating with colleagues in an international environment.

• Drive the packaging, automation, customization, and lifecycle management of software packages, contributing to an efficient and reliable software deployment process.
