OMICRON electronics GmbH in Feldkirch, Austria, seeks a seasoned software engineer to develop and maintain its in-house Linux distribution for test and measurement products. You’ll work on C/C++ components, contribute to embedded Linux features and ensure robust, well-documented software across platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, testing, and collaboration within an international team. You’ll optimize build processes, engage with cross-functional groups, and help shape development

Qualifikationen

• Degree or comparable technical education in information technology or related field.
• At least five years of professional C/C++ software development on Linux.
• Practical experience in embedded systems development (Linux kernel/driver).
• Experience with networking, real-time Linux, embedded hardware, cross-compilation and toolchains.
• Structured, solution-oriented approach to software development; team player with personal responsibility.
