INNIO Jenbacher GmbH & Co OG in Austria is seeking a motivated intern to support software development and validation within the Microgrid Solutions Team. You will enhance the software validation environment and develop a model library using Python and MATLAB/Simulink.

This full-time internship for at least 6 months starts January 2027. The role offers an international working environment, flexible hours, and access to a canteen, transport subsidies, and company sports activities.

Qualifikationen

• Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or related fields.
• Educational background and passion for software development (Python, MATLAB).
• Fluent in English; German or local language is a plus.

Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to support software development and validation within the Microgrid Solutions Team at INNIO.

• Develop a model library using Python and MATLAB/Simulink

Your qualifications:

• Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or related fields
• Educational background and passion for software development (Python, MATLAB)
• Basic understanding of and interest in power system control
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German or the local language is a plus

The internship is a full-time position for at least 6 months starting in January 2027. The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.698,59 gross per month (x 14).
