Job summary

INNIO Jenbach is offering an internship in emissions aftertreatment within a motivated engineering team. You will work on testing and analysis to develop and improve emissions and aftertreatment products for gas engines, focusing on testing, layout of systems, and component specifications.

The position is full-time for at least six months starting in 2027, with base pay according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least EUR 2,755.26 gross per month, paid 14 times per year).

Qualifications

• Student in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or similar.
• Good motivation and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a motivated engineering team to develop and improve emissions and aftertreatment products by focusing on testing and analysis.
• Layout of aftertreatment systems and test installations, including component specifications and sub-system design.
• Support of the development process from concept phase to product release.
• Support and execute in-house and field testing of components and overall aftertreatment system validation.
• Analysis of measurement results, interpretation and reporting.

Your qualifications:

• Student of mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or similar
• Passion for internal combustion engines, emissions aftertreatment system and environment protection

• Good communication skills in an international environment
