Zusammenfassung

Plug and Play Linz is building a new office and is seeking a Ventures Analyst or Associate to source Pre-seed to Series A startups for our Physical & Industrial AI vertical. You will work directly with the Ventures Manager and collaborate with the Vienna team to shape sourcing, dealflow, and events.

You will map market dynamics, support deal teams, and mentor startups on go-to-market, fundraising, and scaling while using AI tools to accelerate research and outreach across the Upper Austria

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in fast-paced, international environments.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
• Excellent written communication and analytical capabilities; experience with market maps and memos.
• Proficiency with AI tools in daily workflow.
• Experience in manufacturing, automation, robotics, logistics or industrial software is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Source Pre-seed, Seed, and Series A startups for investment opportunities and introductions to corporate partners.
• Build sector expertise and map market dynamics; keep the startup landscape current.
• Evangelize Plug and Play to startup, investor, corporate, university, and government networks.
• Support the deal team on investment opportunities.
• Build a network of venture capitalists and investors to support sourcing and portfolio startups.
• Connect startups with industry advisors, tech vendors, and service providers to accelerate product development.
• Mentor startups on product-to-market, fundraising, scaling, and ad-hoc needs.
• Conduct market and technology research to identify trends for corporate partners.
