Placements24 is seeking an organized Logistics Coordinator for our FMCG distribution operations in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. The role is hybrid, combining on-site coordination with strategic planning and reporting to optimize the distribution network.

You will manage daily logistics, coordinate with carriers, monitor inventory, and prepare performance reports while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety protocols. Relocation to Queenstown is preferred for onsite collaboration.

Competenze

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven ability to organize, plan and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

Mansioni

• Coordinate daily logistics operations, including scheduling and tracking shipments and managing inventory levels.
• Liaise with transportation providers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Process shipping documentation, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize stock management.
• Resolve logistical issues and disruptions promptly and effectively.
• Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance including delivery times, costs, and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies within logistics operations.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and issues.
• Support management in achieving operational targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
