EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer (Data Integration) to join our team in Lausanne, Switzerland, in a hybrid mode.

You will design and deliver AI-native integration solutions for a major European energy trading client, driving rapid prototyping, data integration, and solution architecture. You will lead client engagements, scope AI-assisted prototypes, and guide the transition of validated work into standard build workflows while acting as the expert for data

Qualifikationen

• Six+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years in integration engineering.
• 2+ years in forward-deployed or solution engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in API integration development.
• Hands-on experience with Fivetran and dbt.
• Experience with MuleSoft APIs and data integration technologies.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development or agent-based tooling.
• CEFR B2 level English.
• Nice-to-have Bedrock/LangChain framework experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead client engagement on high-priority integration challenges.
• Scope AI-assisted integration prototypes and validate feasibility.
• Build and iterate on data integration, ingestion and transformation prototypes using MuleSoft APIs, Fivetran and dbt.
• Define and validate technical feasibility and architecture for innovative integration approaches.
• Lead hardening and transition of prototypes into standard build workflows.
• Act as a senior escalation point for data integration technologies.
• Serve as the technical liaison for client integration and AI initiatives.
• Contribute reusable integration patterns and components to the AI Solution Engineering practice.
