GE HealthCare Austria GmbH & Co OG seeks an AI Data Engineer in Zipf, Austria for hybrid work (min. 3 days in-office). You will develop reusable data tools, operate shared data infrastructure, and evaluate platforms for ultrasound teams worldwide, contributing to a global healthcare data ecosystem.

The role emphasizes English communication, collaboration with distributed teams, and hands-on work with data pipelines, experiments, and platform integration in a medical technology context.

Qualificações

• Master's degree or higher in a technical field such as computer science, data engineering or AI.
• Hands-on experience building and running data pipelines and AI development infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud environments, containers, Linux and data workflow orchestration.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills, API design and service integration.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and maintainable packaging.
• Ability to design experiments, benchmarks, and compare platforms and workflows.
• Understanding AI data workflows including curation, versioning, and training data preparation.
• Awareness of security, privacy, and traceability for healthcare data.
• Fluent English; ability to collaborate with globally distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Translate cross-team requirements into working data solutions and procedures.
• Design reproducible experiments, proofs of concept, and benchmarks on data platforms.
• Assess fit, performance, interoperability, cost, and scalability against requirements.
• Document methods, results, and trade-offs to guide platform choices.
• Extend tools for broader use across ultrasound teams and standardize interfaces.
• Develop and maintain shared libraries, services, and connectors with tests and deployment workflows.
• Build data ingestion, transformation, validation pipelines for curation and AI development.
• Support onboarding, tool integration, and data/workflow migrations.
• Create user guides, runbooks, and provide training and support.
