Job summary

ABB is seeking a Business Chief Financial Officer to lead FP&A, planning, and performance management across global divisions. You will set the framework for the Business Storyline and Finance Digitalization, collaborating with Business Areas and global FP&A teams to drive profitability and strategic decision-making.

The role requires strong financial acumen, experience in FP&A or controlling, and expertise with Excel, Power BI, SAP, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, financial or operational controlling, accounting, or similar analytical environment.
• Strong understanding of business performance in complex B2B or industrial settings.
• Proficiency with data, modern finance tools and AI for planning and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of financial results and coordinate preparation of management reports for senior stakeholders.
• Evaluate impact of major investments and strategic decisions.
• Define and oversee FP&A processes including APP, forecasting, and planning.
• Drive standardized FP&A processes and tools, including AI integration.
• Prepare business reviews on performance and analysis with global FP&A teams.
• Improve data quality and consistency across reporting units and functions.
