NOVOMATIC in Gumpoldskirchen, Austria, is seeking a full-time game developer to join the Game Studio '707 Games'. You will develop online slot games in C# within our internal framework and mentor a growing team of engineers.

You will coordinate with Game Design, QA and external partners, ensuring high quality, well-documented code and timely delivery in an agile environment. Flexible hours and partial remote work are offered.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional C# development experience.
• Experience leading software teams in a Technical Lead, Scrum Lead or comparable role.
• Experience in game development, ideally within the casino or online gaming industry.
• Strong communication skills and solid command of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-quality online slot games using C# within our internal framework, writing clean, maintainable and well-structured code.
• Mentor and provide day-to-day technical guidance for the development team, motivating and supporting engineers.
• Analyse, refine and document technical and functional requirements, collaborating with Game Design, Technical Artists, QA and international partners.
• Coordinate technical implementations, monitor progress, identify risks, drive improvements, and support onboarding of engineers.
• Act as the primary technical contact for our external development partner (Greentube) and ensure effective technical coordination across stakeholders.

YOUR TASKS

• You develop and implement high-quality online slot games using C# within our internal framework, writing clean, maintainable and well-structured code
• You act as a mentor, providing day-to-day technical guidance for the development team, motivating and supporting engineers, and fostering a positive and resilient team environment, especially when priorities or requirements evolve
• You analyse, refine and document technical and functional requirements, collaborating closely with Game Design, Technical Artists, QA and international development partners
• You coordinate technical implementations, monitor and contribute to development progress, identify technical risks, drive continuous improvements, and support the onboarding and mentoring of software engineers
• You act as the primary technical contact for our external development partner (Greentube) and ensure effective technical coordination across all stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE

• Several years of professional experience with C# and solid knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including Scrum, Jira and Git
• Experience leading or coordinating small software development teams in a Technical Lead, Functional Lead, Scrum Lead or comparable role
• Experience in game development, ideally within the casino or online gaming industry
• You thrive in an agile environment where priorities and requirements can evolve, maintain a positive and solution-oriented mindset, and inspire your team to stay focused and motivated throughout change
• Strong communication skills and solid command of English
