Grand Hotel Locarno seeks an experienced Director of Finance (m/w/d) to lead the pre-opening financial strategy for a Luxury Collection Hotel & Spa on Lake Maggiore. The role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape processes, controls, and the finance organization from the ground up.

You will partner with the General Manager and ownership to ensure a successful launch, robust financial governance, and sustainable profitability for this iconic Swiss property.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive finance experience in luxury hospitality.
• Experience with hotel openings and pre-opening finance.
• Fluent English; Italian and German advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Finance Department from pre-opening through stabilization and long-term operations.
• Design and implement financial processes, systems, reporting frameworks, and internal controls.
• Build and mentor the Finance team.
• Partner with General Manager and Ownership on strategic and operational decisions.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance across Swiss requirements.
