Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, the role will provide financial insight across a portfolio of international businesses, with a strong focus on financial performance, reporting and operational analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the leadership team in the financial oversight of assigned countries and businesses.
• Analyse revenue, costs and profitability and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Undertake cost control and review operational expenditure.
• Review weekly and monthly financial reporting and investigate key variances.
• Review working capital, cash management and foreign exchange exposure.
• Undertake ad hoc financial analysis in collaboration with regional and group finance teams.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
• Minimum of five years’ experience within external audit, financial controlling or a comparable finance role.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to understand operational performance.
• Experience within logistics, transportation or a similarly operationally complex international sector, either directly or through an external audit portfolio, is required.
• Advanced Excel skills and exposure to SAP.
• Business fluent in English; French, Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin would be advantageous.
• Must be eligible to work in Switzerland.
