Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to drive the impeccable appearance of the hotel. You report to the Rooms Division Manager and lead an international team of approximately 24 employees, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and living quality across guest rooms and public areas.

You will coach and develop the team, manage staff scheduling, conduct training, performance reviews, and participate in recruitment.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in the hotel industry or a professional qualification in Housekeeping Management.
• Experience in luxury hotel housekeeping and staff leadership is preferred.

This is what you move with us

As Executive Housekeeper, you are the driving force behind the impeccable appearance of our hotel. You report directly to the Rooms Division Manager and lead an international team of approximately 24 employees.

• Quality assurance at 5-star level: You ensure impeccable cleanliness and living quality in all guest rooms and public areas – always in line with the demanding standards of Swiss Deluxe Hotels, Forbes and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA). You are also responsible for our staff accommodation.
• Inspiring leadership: You are a coach and role model for your team. You are responsible for staff scheduling, conduct training sessions (equipment and cleaning procedures), carry out performance reviews and are actively involved in the recruitment process of new talents.
• Efficient management & logistics: You manage inventory, oversee the purchasing of hotel linen and uniforms, and coordinate the smooth laundry process in close cooperation with our sister hotel, Kulm.
• Interface professional: You are in daily contact with the Executive Management, Engineering, Floristry and Front Office to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.

This is you

• Your foundation: Completed vocational training in the hotel industry (Hotel Management Specialist) or a professional qualification in Housekeeping Management, ideally complemented by specific further training.
• Your experience: Several years of management experience in Housekeeping, preferably in the 5-star hotel industry. The position is suitable for both experienced managers and committed junior managers who are ready to take the next step in their career.
• Your language skills:Must-have: Fluent German or English.Advantageous: Knowledge of Italian and/or Portuguese.
• Your personality: You are characterised by a keen eye for detail, strong business acumen, excellent organisational skills and absolute discretion.
• Start date: From 1 October or by agreement.
