Zusammenfassung

Sungrow Deutschland GmbH in Austria is seeking an EV Field Service Engineer who will remotely monitor and service EV chargers, diagnose issues, and lead on-site commissioning. You will be the first engineer in the region, with travel up to 60% and a path to build a local engineering team.

You will work with installers, electricians and platform technicians, using Sungrow’s monitoring tools and standard protocols (OCPP/Modbus-TCP) to ensure safe operation and high fleet availability.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience in the electro-technical field with a passion for green technology and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networks and command-line troubleshooting; experience with OCPP and Modbus-TCP is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams for diagnosing system performance and faults.
• Proficiency in Excel and, ideally, Linux; strong communication for non-technical customers.
• EU work authorization; based in Austria with flexibility to travel.

Aufgaben

• Monitor commissioned EV chargers remotely and diagnose faults to maintain high fleet availability.
• Remotely diagnose and resolve charger malfunctions and communication issues with local components.
• Provide clear explanations to customers to build confidence in Sungrow’s products.
• Plan and coordinate on-site commissioning with installers, electricians, and platform technicians.
• Lead on-site troubleshooting and replace malfunctioning components while complying with safety regulations.
• Integrate EV chargers with customer systems and configure for safe operation.
• Develop expertise in Sungrow’s monitoring tools for proactive issue identification.
• Maintain and update customer and issue databases for accurate record-keeping.
• Contribute to improving data processing techniques on internal platforms.
