Job summary

BYD Automotive Austria GmbH, the Austrian arm of BYD Europe, invites applications for an Aftersales Technical Support role based in Vienna. The role provides on-site and remote technical support to end customers and the dealer network, linking market needs with HQ Quality and R&D resources.

You will analyse data from product issues, prepare technical bulletins, and coordinate with DENZA/BYD teams to safeguard reliability. Travel frequently for on-site support and launches.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric vehicle aftersales service is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Certificates to work on high voltage vehicles.
• 2+ years of warranty workshop experience and related guidelines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end customers and dealer network.
• Collaborate with Area Service Managers, Field Engineers, and HQ teams.
• Analyze data from recurring product issues; contribute to root cause analysis.
• Prepare technical bulletins, repair case studies, and guidelines.
• Support product risk management and field investigations.
• Coordinate software updates and quality-related fixes with HQ.
• Travel frequently to provide on-site support.
