Job summary

Kapsch Group seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and test embedded software for V2X and GNSS platforms. You will translate customer needs into scalable capabilities and contribute to system design discussions.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded software, expert C/C++, Linux proficiency, and experience with automated tests. Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus. Agile teams and modern tooling await in a multinational setup.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in systems engineering, software architecture, computer science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Expert-level C and C++ with Linux-based applications.
• Familiarity with V2X, GNSS, 3G/4G, TCP/IP, BT, LWM2M interfaces.
• Experience with automated unit tests and test environments.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Docker; Kibana/Grafana is a plus.
• Business-fluent English; German is an asset.
• Familiarity with agile development processes.
