OMICRON electronics GmbH is seeking a Software Test Engineer - Embedded to ensure the quality of the CPX 200 device and its embedded software. You will design, execute and maintain automated tests, and guide the release cycle within a cross-functional agile team.

The role emphasizes field testing from a customer perspective, collaboration with product management, and ongoing knowledge sharing to drive technical excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Background in electrotechnical or mechatronics with QA experience.
• Experience with test automation and object-oriented programming.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent English communication skills for stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear information.
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and share knowledge within the team.

Aufgaben

• Be part of a cross-functional agile development team.
• Ensure the software quality of our CPX 200 device and its embedded application throughout the life cycle.
• Design and execute system tests and guide the release cycle.
• Plan and conduct field tests from a customer perspective and analyze arising issues.
• Develop, execute and maintain automated tests for our software solutions in C++.
• Collaborate closely with product management and development to clarify requirements and enable informed decisions.
• Support knowledge sharing within the team and continuously develop technical expertise.
