Job summary

Kapsch TrafficCom AG in Austria hires an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and test embedded software for V2X and GNSS platforms.

You will implement high-quality, scalable code, collaborate across product, design, and QA teams, and contribute to automated testing and robust system design. English fluency is required; German is a plus. The role supports hybrid work, with strong emphasis on practical onboarding and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
• Strong C and C++ proficiency with Linux-based applications.
• Experience developing testable code and automated unit tests.
• Familiarity with V2X, GNSS, and network protocols (TCP/IP, 3G/4G) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate embedded V2X and GNSS software and tools.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code following embedded best practices.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to translate requirements into platform capabilities.
• Participate in system design discussions and automated test environments.
