Die Ärztekasse Genossenschaft sucht eine erfahrene Datenbankingenieurin oder einen Datenbankingenieur, um unsere Datenbankplattformen zu betreuen und zu optimieren. Sie arbeiten in einem agilen Umfeld und verantworten Leistung, Verfügbarkeit und Sicherheit unserer Systeme in einer modernisierten Infrastruktur.

Wachstum im Gesundheitswesen, Cloud-native Umgebungen, Kubernetes, DevOps und Automatisierung sind Kernbereiche. Englisch erforderlich; Deutsch oder Französisch von Vorteil.

Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Database Engineer oder Administrator.
• Fundierte Erfahrung mit PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, SAP ASE (Sybase), Redis und RabbitMQ.
• Erfahrung mit Cloud-native Datenbanken, insbesondere Kubernetes.
• Starke DevOps- und Automatisierungskenntnisse.
• Kenntnisse zu Sicherheitsbest-practices und regulatorischer Compliance.
• Innovatives Denken und Leidenschaft für praxisnahe eHealth-Lösungen.
• Englisch erforderlich; Deutsch oder Französisch von Vorteil.

Aufgaben

• Datenbankplattformen verwalten, betreiben und optimieren (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, MS SQL, SAP ASE, Redis, RabbitMQ).
• Leistung, Zuverlässigkeit, Verfügbarkeit und Sicherheit der Datenbanken sicherstellen.
• Performance-Tuning von Datenbanksystemen durchführen.
• Metriken analysieren für Kapazitätsplanung und proaktiv Performance-Probleme adressieren.
• DevOps-Praktiken implementieren und warten (Tools wie Mimir, Flux, Helm).
• Datenbanken innerhalb unserer Kubernetes-basierten Cloud-Plattform verwalten.
• Hohe Standards für Datensicherheit und Compliance in regulierten Umgebungen wahren.

Ärztekasse Genossenschaft provides business process outsourcing and eHealth solutions to health professionals so they get relief from administration and can focus on medical work.

Ärztekasse is renewing its entire datacenter and the products affected by this transformation. To support this digitalization step, we are looking for smart and experienced engineers to contribute and shape clever and creative solutions for a meaningful industry.

Pensum: 80-100%

Location: Geneva area (Thônex) or Zurich area (Urdorf)

Main Tasks

• Manage, operate and optimize our database platforms (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Maria DB, MS SQL, SAP ASE (Sybase), Redis, RabbitMQ)
• Ensure performance, reliability, availability and security of the databases
• Perform performance tuning of database systems
• Analyse metrics for capacity planning and proactively address performance issues
• Implement and maintain DevOps practices using tools like Mimir, Flux and Helm
• Manage databases within our Kubernetes-based cloud platform
• Uphold high standards of data security and compliance in a regulated environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Database Engineer or Administrator
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Maria DB, SAP ASE (Sybase), Redis and RabbitMQ are a plus
• Experience with databases in a cloud-native environment, particularly Kubernetes
• Strong background in DevOps and automation
• Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory compliance
• Innovative mindset and passion for impactful eHealth solutions
• English is required; German or French is a plus
