Ärztekasse Genossenschaft is seeking a seasoned test automation engineer to strengthen our digital products. You will design, implement and maintain automated tests across API, Web UI, and end-to-end flows, supporting CI/CD and fast feedback cycles.

Based in Urdorf, you will work in a small, dynamic team, collaborating with requirements engineers and business analysts to identify high-value test cases while upholding high code quality and thorough documentation.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation.
• Experience testing Java and Web apps (Angular, REST, SOAP).
• Proven test automation skills with CI/CD focus.
• Code design affinity and good documentation.
• Experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, SQL.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, X-Ray for Test Management.
• Security concepts knowledge is a plus.
• Self-driven and self-organized; analytical mindset.

To support this digitalization step, we are looking for smart and experienced engineers to contribute and shape clever and creative solutions for a meaningful industry.

Specifically, we are looking for a test automation engineer to ensure that our products are comprehensively tested before they are handed over to our customers.

Pensum: 80-100%
Start: immediately or by appointment

Location: Urdorf

Main Tasks

• Plan, design, develop, and execute automated test scenarios. Depending on the project, the automation needs to be done on API level, Web GUI and/or end to end
• The automated test cases need to be identified based on risk of the according functionality
• The automation shall cover functional and non-functional testing
• Build up regression test suites which are part of the continuous integration and build process
• Identify and automate critical performance and security tests
• Collaborate with requirements engineers and business analysts to identify most beneficial test cases

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software development/ test automation.
• Experience in testing Java and Web (Angular, REST, SOAP) applications.
• Strong and proven test automation skills
• Code design affinity. Familiarity with key architecture and design principles.
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks (like Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Postman, Rest Assured)
• Deep expertise in Digital Frameworks like Selenium (Web UI), Rest Assured (API), SQL(Database).
• Hands-on experience delivering automation with a focus on continuous integration/continuous deployment. (Git, Bamboo)
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies and exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence and X-Ray for Test Management.
• High code quality and good documentation skills.
• Understanding of security concepts is a plus
• Self-driven and self-organized
• Analytical mindset with fast comprehensionEnglish is required
