Job summary

NovaTaste in Salzburg is seeking a data engineer to develop, operate, and optimize scalable data pipelines. You will integrate data from SAP and non-SAP sources and design data models and data products for BI, analytics, AI, and automation.

The role requires 3–5 years in data engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, cloud platform experience, and fluent German and English communication. We offer flexible hours, home-office options, and a modern, international work environment.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data integration.
Professional experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, and data pipelines.
3–5 years in Data Engineering, Big Data, or Cloud Data Platforms.
Proficiency in Python and Spark/PySpark; cloud platforms experience.
Experience with Azure Databricks, SAP Datasphere, or SAP BD Cloud.
Analytical mindset with structured, solution-oriented work style.
Good German and English written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities
