Cloudflight is seeking a Senior Cloud/Infrastructure Lead to guide a team of cloud and infrastructure specialists in Austria. You will shape the technical strategy and build an organizational foundation that enables hundreds of engineers to deliver scalable, value-driven cloud solutions.

You will drive cloud strategy, oversee secure and cost-efficient infrastructure, and manage staffing, budgeting, and KPI-driven delivery in collaboration with the CTO and VP Group Delivery.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, consulting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years in a people leadership role with experience leading managers.
• Deep technical expertise in cloud and infrastructure with hands-on experience on major cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, workforce planning, and resource allocation across teams.
• Proven ability to coach leaders, drive performance, and build scalable organizations.
• Fluency in German and English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Lead and inspire a team of cloud and infrastructure specialists, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Define and drive cloud/infrastructure strategy and technical roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Oversee design, implementation, and operation of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure with cost efficiency and reliability.
• Manage capacities, staffing, and utilization; collaborate with Talent Acquisition for hiring.
• Contribute to budget planning, headcount projections, and KPI-driven delivery improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Finance, and executive leadership to align planning and communicate across stakeholders.
