Cloudflight in Austria is seeking a senior cloud and infrastructure leader to shape technical strategy and build scalable, cost-efficient cloud environments across client engagements. You will lead managers and disciplines, guiding 800+ engineers toward high performance.

You’ll drive workforce planning, utilization, and budget decisions while partnering with Sales, Delivery, and People & Culture to ensure successful outcomes. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software engineering, consulting, or related field, including at least 5 years in a people leadership role.
• Deep technical cloud/infrastructure expertise with Azure/AWS/GCP and cloud-native tech like OpenShift/OpenStack/Kubernetes.
• Proven track record in workforce planning, capacity management, and resource allocation across teams/locations.
• Strong understanding of utilization, billability, compensation structures, and cost management with data-driven decisions.
• Experience coaching leaders through feedback, performance management, and succession planning.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across Sales, Delivery, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and executives.
• Fluency in German and English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of cloud and infrastructure specialists.
• Define and drive cloud/infrastructure strategy and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Oversee design, implementation, and operation of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage capacities, staffing decisions, and staffing to project demands with Talent Acquisition.
• Contribute to budget planning, headcount projections, and KPIs with VP Group Delivery.
• Collaborate with Sales, Presales, Delivery, and People & Culture for planning and alignment.
