Job summary

Vusion is hiring for a DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and run cloud resources as code. You will operate a multi-cluster Kubernetes platform and evolve GitOps workflows across environments.

The role requires 3+ years in DevOps or platform engineering, strong IaC and CI/CD experience, plus Linux and networking basics. English is essential; German helpful.

Qualifications

• HTL or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years hands-on DevOps/Platform engineering experience.
• Kubernetes experience in production (multi-cluster, multi-environment).
• Infrastructure as Code experience and Git-based change workflows.
• Experience with GitOps and CI/CD.
• Comfortable with Linux, containers and networking basics.
• Ability to debug live systems (logs, metrics, traces, cluster events).
• Knowledge of industrial IoT technology (HW, SW) is beneficial.
• CKA or CKS certification is beneficial (not required).

• Run monitoring, alerting and observability; drive incident response and continuous improvement.
• Enforce security best practices (policy-as-code, secret management, least-privilege access).
• Document architecture and operational procedures.

• Comfortable with Linux, containers and networking basics
• Ability to debug live systems (logs, metrics, traces, cluster events)
• Knowledge of industrial IoT technology (HW, SW) is beneficial
• CKA or CKS certification is beneficial (not required)

Languages:

• Fluent in English (business-professional level, verbal & written
• German is beneficial

For the advertised position, a KV minimum basic salary of 3,954.00 euros gross per month applies, with readiness for KV overpayment depending on actual qualifications (for full-time employment).
