UNIDO is seeking a Project Administrator to support the Division of Climate and Technology Partnerships in Vienna. Under supervision, you will administer technical cooperation programmes and manage activities of limited complexity, contributing to project design, monitoring and reporting for carbon market initiatives.

The role requires an advanced degree, 3+ years of relevant experience, and fluent English; knowledge of international development and carbon markets is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in engineering, sciences, economics, business administration, international relations or other relevant discipline is required.
• At least three (3) years of work experience in area relevant for the recruiting office is required.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Aufgaben

• Select, organize, analyze and synthesize technical, policy, regulatory and market-related information relevant to international carbon markets, Article 6 implementation, climate transparency frameworks and industrial decarbonization initiatives.
• Assess and analyze national and sectoral readiness for participation in international carbon markets through evaluation of institutional arrangements and regulatory frameworks.
• Draft and contribute to sections of technical project documents, donor proposals, terms of reference, and analytical reports.
