Zusammenfassung

Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Secretariat in Vienna is seeking an Assistant Project Officer in the Environmental Co‑Operation Unit. The role focuses on assisting with planning, implementation and reporting of climate and environmental projects under supervision.

You will support administrative arrangements for workshops, study visits and missions, track deliverables and budgets, and liaise with partners and consultants to ensure timely completion of project outputs.

Qualifikationen

• First-level university degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Renewable Energy Innovation, Social Sciences or other relevant field
• Two+ years of professional experience in assisting with project planning, implementation and reporting, preferably in climate change or environmental issues
• Knowledge of climate change, environment, biodiversity or related fields
• Ability to summarize information and prepare background material
• Experience with OSCE or similar international organizations is an asset
• Excellent English communication skills; gender awareness and teamwork abilities
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and ERP software is a plus

Aufgaben

• Assist with project planning, implementation and management under supervision
• Support delivery of project activities and routine outputs following established procedures
• Collect information and prepare inputs for progress, financial and evaluation reports
• Track workplans, budgets and expenditures and maintain project records
• Provide administrative support for consultants, partners and events; liaise with participants
• Support liaison with international institutions to share information and coordinate activities
