Job summary

Vascage GmbH in Innsbruck (Tirol) sucht eine/n Labortechniker/in für analytische Messungen an biologischen Proben, Zellzählung, Proteingehalt und Enzymaktivitäten, sowie Zellkultur und Probenvorbereitung.

In einem interdisziplinären Team arbeiten Sie an der Qualitätskontrolle von Instrumenten, Verwaltung von Bestellungen und Wartung von Arbeitsunterlagen; 38 Stunden/Woche, befristet bis 31.03.2028, Startgehalt 2.650 EUR brutto monatlich.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Labortechniker bzw. Hochschulabschluss in biologischen Wissenschaften mit Laborkenntnissen.
• Gute organisatorische Fähigkeiten und Teamfähigkeit.
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

Responsibilities

• Analytische Messungen an biologischen Proben (Zellzählung, Proteinbestimmung, Enzymaktivitäten).
• Zellkultur, Probenvorbereitung, Herstellung von Buffern, Chemikalien und Medien.
• Qualitätskontrolle von Instrumenten und Bestandsführung/Arbeitsnachweise führen.

Our project "Functional Mitochondrial Diagnostics" aims to develop protocols and quality management for high-resolution respirometry measurements as a diagnostic service. In your role as Technician, you will collaborate closely with Oroboros Instruments GmbH.

Responsibilities

• Analytical measurements on biological samples: Cell count, protein content, spectrophotometric determination of enzyme activities
• Cell culture and sample preparation, production of buffers, chemicals and media
• Quality Control of instruments
• Ordering and inventory maintenance
• Maintaining equipment records and work logs

Requirements

• Completed training as lab technician, or, alternatively, completed a university degree in biological sciences or related fields with lab experience

• Self-reliant & attention to detail and careful working method
• Excellent interpersonal skills & teamwork
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
