Job summary

Bruker Alicona seeks a Technical Engineer Operations to ensure high service quality and worldwide customer satisfaction. You will help transition developments to volume production, build prototypes, and lead improvement projects.

The role requires technical training and experience in measurement technology or mechanical engineering, plus proficiency in English and German and strong MS Office/CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Completed technical training (apprenticeship, HTL, etc.).
• Initial experience in measurement technology or mechanical engineering (support, maintenance, servicing, repair, calibration).
• Experience in servicing and supporting measuring instruments is a plus.
• Technical aptitude and a basic understanding of technical software (including our own software).
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience with CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Transition developments from R&D into series production.
• Build, test, and document prototypes and first samples for series production readiness.
• Manage projects and implement maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide support for technical issues and analyze and resolve malfunctions.
• Coordinate and implement product, process, and material changes across departments.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer on relevant changes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transitioning developments from R&D into series production
• Building, testing, and documenting prototypes and first samples to ensure they are ready for series production
• Project management and implementation of maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement projects
• Providing support for technical issues, as well as analyzing and permanently resolving malfunctions
• Coordinating and implementing product, process, and material changes across all relevant departments
• Conducting training sessions and facilitating knowledge transfer regarding relevant changes for affected departments

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed technical training (apprenticeship, HTL, etc.)
• Initial experience in the field of measurement technology or mechanical engineering (support, maintenance, servicing, repair, calibration, etc.)
• Experience in servicing and supporting measuring instruments is a plus
• Technical aptitude and a basic understanding of technical software (including our own software)
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience with CRM software
• Excellent English and German language skills are required
