Job summary

Parallel Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to deliver customer-focused solutions across onboarding, lifecycle management, and master data management. You will translate complex requirements for APIs and data services while partnering with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to adopt AI-enabled ways of working.

You will gather requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, manage backlogs, and facilitate workshops.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Understanding of APIs, data management and SOA.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Exposure to AI-assisted analysis or AI-enabled SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Support Product Owners with backlog management, prioritisation, and refinement.
• Work with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
• Support API and service design within the customer domain.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Support UAT planning, execution, and documentation.
• Use AI tools to improve requirements quality, documentation, test preparation, and analysis.
• Contribute to AI-enabled SDLC practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exposure to AI-assisted business analysis or software delivery practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience within Customer Onboarding, Customer Lifecycle Management, or Master Data Management.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, BPMN, or API documentation tools.
• Knowledge of data privacy, information security, and responsible AI principles.
• Banking or financial services experience.
