Job summary

Oper is seeking a Business Analyst (DACH) to join the Customer Success team. You will own delivery work for Austrian customers and expand to a broader DACH portfolio, translating business needs into configured, live Oper platform experiences.

You will thrive in structuring messy problems, leading workshops with bankers and product owners, and leveraging AI-native tooling to accelerate analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of consulting experience (Big-4, boutique strategy/tech, or implementation).
• Fluent in German and English.
• You love structuring problems: messy conversations become clean docs, frameworks, and next steps.
• You enjoy customer and end-user interaction: workshops energize you.
• Technical affinity: comfortable reading API docs and understanding integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Capture and structure customer requirements; bridge customer needs and Oper's deliveries.
• Run discovery workshops with business and IT stakeholders in DACH customers.
• Map requirements to Oper's product: identify out-of-the-box vs configurable vs engineering work.
• Translate business needs into user stories and functional specs for the squad.
• Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review integration points with core banking systems, CRMs, and online banking platforms.
• Document data flows, contracts, and edge cases for go-live readiness.
• Configure mortgage products, business rules, and customer journeys inside the platform.
• Validate configurations against scope and acceptance tests; lead end-user trainings.
