AVILOO is at the forefront of battery diagnostics. We are seeking a researcher to advance electrical measurements of EV battery modules, apply engineering methods to analyze battery systems, and develop procedures from measurement to modelling and simulations.

You will work closely with Data Science and other AVILOO teams to automate test processes. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, modelling, and collaboration to drive innovative battery diagnostics while advancing global solutions in a

Qualifikationen

• A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Good knowledge of measurement technology, signal processing, and modelling.
• Understanding of electrical energy storage systems (especially lithium-ion batteries).
• Interest in developing test and measurement procedures as well as the ability to meaningfully combine theory and practice.
• Programming skills (ideally in Python).
• Hands-on experience with circuits (sizing, wiring, soldering, etc.) is a big plus.
• Excellent English or German skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Independent, structured, and precise way of working.
• Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for new challenges.

• The minimum salary for this position is €3.267 gross/month in accordance with the Austrian IT Collective Agreement (full-time, 38.5h/week). Actual compensation is based on qualifications and experience and significantly exceeds the collective agreement minimum.
