AVILOO is seeking a skilled engineer to advance battery diagnostics and measurement methods. You will conduct measurements on EV battery modules and apply engineering analysis to battery systems.

Your work includes developing procedures from measurement to modelling and simulations, collaborating with Data Science and other AVILOO teams, and driving automation of test processes.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Knowledge of measurement technology, signal processing, and modelling.
• Understanding of electrical energy storage systems (lithium-ion batteries).
• Interest in developing test and measurement procedures; ability to combine theory and practice.
• Programming skills (ideally in Python).
• Hands-on experience with circuits (sizing, wiring, soldering).
• Excellent English or German (written and spoken).
• Independent, structured, and precise way of working.

What you bring

• A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Good knowledge of measurement technology, signal processing, and modelling.
• Understanding of electrical energy storage systems (especially lithium-ion batteries).
• Interest in developing test and measurement procedures as well as the ability to meaningfully combine theory and practice.
• Programming skills (ideally in Python).
• Hands‑on experience with circuits (sizing, wiring, soldering, etc.) is a big plus.
• Excellent English or German skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Independent, structured, and precise way of working.

• The minimum salary for this position is €3.267 gross/month in accordance with the Austrian IT
  Collective Agreement (full‑time, 38.5h/week). Actual compensation is based on qualifications and
  experience and significantly exceeds the collective agreement minimum.
