AVILOO GmbH seeks a talented engineer for R&D in battery diagnostics. You will conduct electrical measurements on EV battery modules, apply EE methods to analyze battery systems, and develop procedures from measurement to modelling and simulations.

Close collaboration with Data Science and other teams will be key. You will contribute to improving and automating test processes, leveraging cutting-edge tools and AI, while enjoying a startup culture with flat hierarchies and strong work-life

Exciting tasks in RnD in the field of battery diagnostics, specifically:

• Conduct electrical measurements of EV battery modules.
• Apply electrical engineering methods to analyze battery systems.
• Develop, set up, and test new procedures from measurement to modelling and simulations of battery systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Data Science, and other teams within AVILOO.
• Contribute to the improvement and automation of test processes.

What your bring

• A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Good knowledge of measurement technology, signal processing, and modelling.
• Understanding of electrical energy storage systems (especially lithium-ion batteries).
• Interest in developing test and measurement procedures as well as the ability to meaningfully combine theory and practice.
• Programming skills (ideally in Python).
• Hands-on experience with circuits (sizing, wiring, soldering, etc.) is a big plus.
• Excellent English or German skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Independent, structured, and precise way of working.
• Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for new challenges. We appreciate team players who roll up their sleeves when needed.

• The minimum salary for this position is €3.267 gross/month in accordance with the Austrian IT
• Collective Agreement (full-time, 38.5h/week). Actual compensation is based on qualifications and
• experience and significantly exceeds the collective agreement minimum.
