Job summary

Transped Gruppe is seeking a Software Developer to advance backend solutions across our IT team. You will design, implement, and maintain applications, APIs, and data interfaces, ensuring smooth operation from design to deployment and ongoing refinement.

The role emphasizes solving complex problems, collaborating in a multicultural team, and contributing to digitalization and automation initiatives. English proficiency is required, German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of databases (MS SQL): writing/optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and DB admin.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and inter-system communication.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues.
• C# is advantageous; any modern language welcomed.
• Experience with system integrations (EDI, APIs) is a plus.
• Knowledge of UI/UX/design and workflow applications is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Good English skills; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Backend development and maintenance of business-critical applications.
• Design, development and integration of RESTful APIs and interfaces between systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
• SQL development and maintenance of MS SQL code.
• Plan and implement system integrations (e.g. EDI) and ERP workflow adaptations.
• Provide software-related IT support and ticket handling.
