As a Software Developer in our IT team, you develop applications based on various technologies and thus drive the digitalization and automation of our processes. You analyze internal requirements and develop suitable solution concepts. Your responsibilities cover the entire development process from design to programming, the test phase and implementation to the further development of the respective software solutions.
YOUR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Backend software development and maintenance of business-critical applications
- Design, development and integration of RESTful APIs, JSON and other interfaces between internal and external systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments
- SQL development and maintenance of SQL code (MS SQL)
- Planning and implementation of system integrations (e.g. EDI connections) as well as adaptations of the workflow-based ERP system
- Software-related IT support and ticket handling

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in backend development in a production environment
- Solid knowledge of databases (MS SQL) - writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures and database administration
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON and communication protocols between applications and servers
- Experience troubleshooting issues in a production environment
- Programming skills in C# are an advantage; experience with any modern programming language is welcome
- Experience with system integrations (e.g. EDI, APIs) is a plus
- Knowledge of UI/UX/design and workflow applications is a plus
- Knowledge of Python is a plus
- You have good English skills; German is a plus
