Job summary

Workeron AI in Vienna is seeking an Azure DevOps / OpenShift Engineer to support and advance modern DevOps and container platforms, with a focus on CI/CD automation, Kubernetes/OpenShift, GitOps, monitoring and the operation of production applications.

You will design and operate CI/CD pipelines with Tekton and Jenkins, manage Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, implement ArgoCD, handle RBAC and secrets, and troubleshoot incidents in Java environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Tekton and/or Jenkins, ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of Quay or comparable registries and relational DBs such as PostgreSQL.
• Monitoring with Grafana; basic Splunk experience is a plus.
• Experience in integration testing and QA for Java application environments.
• Incident and problem management; RBAC and secrets management.
• REST and JSON interfaces; authentication and security basics.
• German (C1) and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate CI/CD pipelines with Tekton and Jenkins.
• Develop automated build, test and deployment processes.
• Operate and administer Kubernetes/OpenShift, GitOps deployments with ArgoCD.
• Container lifecycle management including Quay; monitor with Grafana.
• Incident management, troubleshooting and runbooks.
• Support Java applications, implement RBAC and secrets management, REST/JSON integrations.
