CoolPeople Technology in Vienna is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to maintain Linux systems, automate infrastructure, and manage middleware for critical eHealth applications. You will build CI/CD pipelines, container environments, and monitor operations, while documenting configurations in Jira and Confluence.

Strong Linux, scripting, and German (C1) are essential for collaboration with local teams on long-term projects in Austria.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years Unix/Linux administration experience.
• Minimum 3 years network analysis and troubleshooting with Wireshark.
• Minimum 3 years scripting in Bash/ksh/Perl/JavaScript or Python.
• Minimum 3 years middleware provisioning with JBoss/Tomcat/Apache.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and automation tools (Rundeck, Docker, Puppet, Chef or CFEngine).
• Experience in the storage sector.
• German at C1 level.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and optimize Unix and Linux server environments and storage infrastructure.
• Develop and execute infrastructure automation using Bash, ksh, Perl, JavaScript and Python.
• Install, configure, deploy and manage middleware including JBoss, Tomcat and Apache.
• Monitor and troubleshoot logical network communication using tools such as Wireshark.
• Build, manage and scale CI/CD pipelines and container environments.
• Support continuous operation and security compliance for critical eHealth applications.
• Track issues and document system configurations in Jira and Confluence.
