Vivid Money is establishing a branch in Austria and seeks a Branch Manager to own commercial success and act as the legal representative to authorities. The role involves building operations, partnerships, and a local team while aligning with Luxembourg and Group teams.

The candidate will drive market entry, adapt propositions to Austrian conditions, negotiate partnerships, and ensure regulatory compliance. Located in Austria or willing to relocate, with travel to Luxembourg and Berlin as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services or fintech with senior commercial or country-management experience.
• Track record of building from a standing start, not inheriting a running operation.
• AML/CFT grounding to credibly hold appointment from day one.
• Comfort with regulatory accountability and decision-making.
• Degree or qualification in business, finance, law, compliance or related field.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.
• Based in Austria or willing to relocate, with travel to Luxembourg and Berlin.

Responsibilities

• Own the Austria commercial plan: acquisition, market share and revenue targets.
• Bring SME and private propositions to market in Austria; adapt positioning and pricing.
• Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships and distribution in Austria.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, intermediaries, industry bodies and press.
• Track trends and translate into product/go-to-market recommendations for Group teams.
• Represent Vivid in Austria at industry events and with regulators.
• Build the local team: define roles, hire, onboard and lead.
