Samsung SDI Battery Systems in Kalsdorf near Graz seeks an AI & Process Automation Specialist to analyze and optimize quality processes using AI and digital technologies. The role covers developing AI-supported solutions, automated reporting, and interface development across systems.

You will drive data collection, processing, and validation workflows, collaborate with Quality, Engineering, IT, and Product Development, and evaluate AI technologies to enhance daily operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in process automation, digitalization, or software development.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with APIs and system integration is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of PyQt for desktop application development, including application architecture and event-driven programming.
• Basic knowledge of Windows automation via Win32 COM interfaces, ideally with experience automating engineering tools such as Vector CANape using APIs or ASAP3 interfaces.
• Basic knowledge of Java for desktop applications, ideally including JavaFX-based UI development.
• Experience working with databases (SQL) and data processing.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, automation frameworks, or machine learning applications in business processes.
• Experience with scripting, workflow automation, or low-code automation platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset.
• Proactive, self-driven personality with the ability to independently identify opportunities, prioritize work, and take full ownership of delivering solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
• Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams.

• Continuously improve existing workflows through automation, scripting, and process digitalization.
• Take full ownership of digitalization projects from concept through implementation, driving initiatives independently with a proactive, self-driven, and hands-on mindset.
• Conduct training sessions, gather user feedback, and continuously refine developed solutions together with stakeholders and key users to maximize business value.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz.

Your core responsibilities are:

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 63.000,-

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
