Zusammenfassung

Wienerberger AG in Vienna is seeking an AI Engineer to build and operate scalable enterprise AI platforms and solutions, translating business use cases into production-ready AI capabilities.

You will collaborate with AI Champions, business teams, and IT product teams to deliver secure, compliant AI applications, leveraging Azure, Copilot Studio and related technologies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of software development and/or solution architecture experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Java or similar.
• Cloud-native development with Azure and related tooling.
• Hands-on experience building AI solutions in enterprise environments.

We are building a new Integration & AI team at our headquarters in Vienna. As AI Engineer, you will help build and operate a scalable enterprise AI platform enabling our global business to develop, deploy and govern AI-powered solutions across multiple markets.

You will work closely with AI Champions, business experts and IT product teams to turn use cases into secure, scalable and production-ready AI solutions.

AI Engineer – Enterprise AI Platform & Solutions (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

• Build and operate scalable enterprise AI platforms and solutions
• Support AI platform governance, security and responsible AI practices
• Translate business use cases into technical AI solutions
• Develop and deploy AI applications using Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio and related technologies
• Design RAG architectures using enterprise data and knowledge sources
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications through APIs, MCP servers and other technologies
• Turn successful proofs of concept into production-ready solutions
• Define solution architectures and provide hands-on engineering guidance
• Develop reusable AI components, accelerators, templates and services
• Collaborate with global AI Champions, business teams, security and architecture
• Coordinate developers, technical specialists and external technology partners

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development and/or solution architecture
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Java or similar
• Solid understanding of cloud-native development and Azure
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, serverless functions or similar technologies
• Hands-on experience building AI solutions in enterprise environments
• Understanding of RAG, APIs, AI application architecture and system integration
• Experience coordinating developers, technical specialists and external vendors
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in complex or international environments is an advantage

Benefits

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 3.338,58 per month based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher and market conform remuneration depending on experience and qualification, besides attractive employee benefits including:
