Samsung SDI Battery Systems in Austria is seeking a Development Operation & Planning Specialist (m/f/d) to support procurement processes and coordinate between local business units and the Korea headquarter on pack development projects.

You'll manage development and operational investments, monitor costs and risks, and drive standardized processes across project teams. Fluent English and Korean are required, with German as a plus. This full-time role is based in Kalsdorf near Graz.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business administration or related fields.
• Minimum of 2-years relevant experience, preferably in automotive, battery or similar industries.
• Experience in project planning/management and cost controlling.
• Very good knowledge in MS-Office (Excel, PPT, Word) and MS-Project is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge in SAP(ERP), Teamcenter, PTC, PLM systems are desirable.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a structured and process-oriented mindset.
• High-Quality Awareness and continuous improvement mindset.
• Analytical thinking, independent and team-oriented work, good communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
• Fluent in English and Korean, both written and spoken (minimum level B2); German is an advantage.

• Manage product development and change management process via ensuring standardized implementation in projects
• Plan and manage development and operational investments, including budget planning, approval, execution tracking, and variance management
• Execute monitoring, controlling, and standardization of processes and risks (cost, quality, delivery)
• Perform regular program monitoring, reporting, and review meetings
• Continuously improve development planning, operational processes, reporting, and investment management

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz.

Your core responsibilities are:

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 55.000,-

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
