Samsung SDI Battery Systems in Kalsdorf near Graz seeks an AI & Process Automation Specialist to analyze and optimize quality processes using AI and digital technologies. The role covers developing AI-supported solutions, automated reporting, and interface development across systems.

You will drive data collection, processing, and validation workflows, collaborate with Quality, Engineering, IT, and Product Development, and evaluate AI technologies to enhance daily operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in process automation, digitalization, or software development.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with APIs and system integration is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of PyQt for desktop application development, including application architecture and event-driven programming.
• Basic knowledge of Windows automation via Win32 COM interfaces, ideally with experience automating engineering tools such as Vector CANape using APIs or ASAP3 interfaces.
• Basic knowledge of Java for desktop applications, ideally including JavaFX-based UI development.
• Experience working with databases (SQL) and data processing.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, automation frameworks, or machine learning applications in business processes.
• Experience with scripting, workflow automation, or low-code automation platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset.
• Proactive, self-driven personality with the ability to independently identify opportunities, prioritize work, and take full ownership of delivering solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
• Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams.

Aufgaben

• Analyze and optimize quality-related processes by identifying automation opportunities using AI and digital technologies.
• Develop AI-supported solutions to reduce manual work and improve efficiency in quality operations.
• Design and implement automated reporting, dashboards, and data evaluation tools.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between quality systems, databases, testing equipment, and other software applications.
• Automate data collection, processing, and validation workflows across different systems.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, IT, and Product Development teams to implement digital solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate modern AI technologies (e.g. Large Language Models, Copilots, intelligent assistants) to support daily business processes.
• Continuously improve existing workflows through automation, scripting, and process digitalization.
• Take full ownership of digitalization projects from concept through implementation, driving initiatives independently with a proactive, self-driven, and hands-on mindset.
• Conduct training sessions, gather user feedback, and continuously refine developed solutions together with stakeholders and key users to maximize business value.
