Job summary

Oper is seeking a Business Analyst (DACH) to join the Customer Success team in Vienna with a hybrid setup. You will own the delivery for Austrian customers and help expand across German-speaking lenders, turning business needs into a configured, live Oper platform.

You will structure workshops with bankers, translate requirements into actionable specifications, and collaborate with Product and Engineering. Fluency in German and English is required; an AI-native mindset is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of consulting experience (Big-4, boutique strategy/tech, or implementation consulting).
• Fluent in German and English.
• Ability to structure messy conversations into documents, frameworks, and next steps.
• Tech-savvy: comfortable reading API documentation, understanding integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Capture and structure customer requirements; bridge between customer needs and Oper delivery.
• Run discovery workshops with DACH stakeholders.
• Capture functional and business requirements in clear documentation; map to product.
• Translate business needs into user stories and functional specifications for the squad.
• Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review technical API documentation from core banking systems and CRMs; define integration points.
• Configure mortgage products, business rules, and customer journeys inside the Oper platform.
• Lead training sessions for end users and customer champions; support go-live and early adoption.
