Zusammenfassung

KeyPartners seeks an experienced 3D Design Engineer to support mechanical design and project execution across Europe. You will create and maintain 2D/3D CAD models and drawings, coordinate design interfaces, and assist project and assembly teams on-site as needed.

Strong CAD proficiency with Inventor/AutoCAD/Navisworks is required, and WtE sector experience is a plus. 3–4+ years of CAD design experience in plant/mechanical engineering is expected.

Qualifikationen

Our client is an international engineering company based in Switzerland. We are currently looking for an experienced 3D Design Engineer to support the design and execution of technical projects across Europe. The role combines hands-on CAD design with technical coordination and close collaboration with project and assembly teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and development of plant and mechanical engineering projects
• Creation and maintenance of 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings
• Management of associated technical and design data
• Coordination of design activities and technical interfaces
• Development of practical solutions to technical challenges
• Support of Project and Assembly Managers throughout planning and execution
• Occasional support on project sites across Europe
• Depending on experience, additional responsibilities in site coordination and documentation

Your Profile

• 3–4+ years of experience in CAD design within plant or mechanical engineering
• Strong proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, ideally Inventor, AutoCAD and Navisworks Manage
• Experience in the Waste-to-Energy (WtE) sector is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and independent problem-solving skills
• Structured, hands-on and responsible working style
• Team player with assertiveness and perseverance
• Very good German and English; Italian or Polish is an advantage
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe

Previous professional experience in the Waste-to-Energy (WtE) industry is an essential requirement for this position. Please note that candidates without relevant WtE industry experience cannot be considered.
