Eupro AG in Switzerland is seeking a Project Engineer (m/f/d) to manage technical investment projects on a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical site in Valais. Immediate start on a temporary contract through July 2027.

You will lead engineering efforts from concept to handover, controlling scope, timelines and budgets while coordinating with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Validation and HSE teams to ensure compliant execution.

Qualifikationen

We are currently supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Valais and are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to manage and deliver technical investment projects within a GMP-regulated environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium-sized engineering and capital investment projects from concept development through implementation and handover.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and technical deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct technical assessments and contribute to process and equipment improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational performance.
• Perform feasibility studies for new installations, facility upgrades, and process modifications.
• Develop and compare technical solutions, providing recommendations based on technical, operational, and financial considerations.
• Prepare project documentation, including cost estimates, schedules, technical specifications, and project justification packages.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure project activities are delivered efficiently and according to plan.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address technical or scheduling challenges.
• Support manufacturing operations during equipment upgrades, process changes, and new product introductions.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Validation, and HSE teams.
• Ensure all project activities comply with GMP requirements, company standards, and safety regulations.
• Drive effective communication across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing engineering projects within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of process engineering, manufacturing equipment, and facility systems.
• Experience managing CAPEX projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while successfully operating within a matrix organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English and German, both written and spoken.
• Solid business acumen with an understanding of project costs, budgeting, and operational impact.
